Costume Party Gift Card Set

Hi Friends! I hope you enjoyed the Tim Holtz Live on YouTube with all the makers creations using the new Sizzix Halloween dies. I’m crazy about this collection and all the adorable and amazing dies. Halloween making is my favorite and today I’m sharing how I created the gift card holders showcasing the new Costume Party die set. These characters are so stinkin’ cute and so fun to put together. I always have so much fun seeing the colorize dies come to life as each piece is added and these little guys don’t disappoint. Check out the tutorial below to see how I created the gift card holders. Enjoy!

Step 1: Cut a 5″ x 6-1/4″ piece of cardstock and score at 3-1/8″. Set aside.

Step 2: Cut a 3-3/4″ x 4-1/4″ piece of cardstock.

Place the 4-1/4″ side along the top edge of the score tool and score at 3-3/4″. Turn the piece so the 3-3/4″ side is along the top of the score tool and score at 3″.

Cut out the small square in the corner with a pair of scissors.

Using a bone folder, fold along the scored lines to create the flaps for the holder portion of the gift card.

Place the side of the cardstock with the flaps down on top of the cutting plate. Place the Tim Holtz Oval die on top of the carstock piece as shown in the photo above. Look closely at the left side corner. Make sure the die is on the outside edge of the lower left corner.

This is the pocket of the gift card.

Attach the pocket to the right side of the of the first cardstock piece created in Step 1 with strong double sided adhesive and decorate the inside as you wish.

I hope you enjoyed seeing how I put togehter these adorable and fun Halloween gift card holders. Thanks so much for stopping by and sticking with me to the end. I appreciate the time you spend here on my blog so much!! Happy Halloween crafting!
