Hi Friends! I hope this finds you all doing well and staying safe and healthy. I know this is such an uncertain time and all of us are trying to get use to a new normal for at least a little while. Our household has really changed during this time as I’m sure yours has as well. I have two children still at home. One of my sons is doing online courses through the community college where he was attending before this pandemic, and my 15 year old is home doing distance learning through his charter school. We had a rough day on Monday when we received word that the schools here were going to be shut down for the rest of the school year and my 15 year old son was so disappointed he wouldn’t be seeing his friends for the rest of the school year. I’m sure this is a similar situation for all of you out there that still have children at home. I do hope you are all doing well and not getting filled with anxiety. Finding time to get in your craft room is really a wonderful way to relax and let your imagination go to a happy place and just create. Whatever you do to keep your sanity, I hope it’s working and that one day soon you and I will all be back together with our friends and extended families. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this wonderful celebration of creativity that Simon Says Stamp has put together. Leave it to Heidi and her team to organize something fun and keep all of us crafters creating together. They are the BEST!!
I created this card using the Simon Says Stamp Kind Flowers stamp set along with the Gina K Wreath Builder. I have had this wreath builder for so long and, believe it or not, I haven’t even tried it until now. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp’s Love wafer die set. I used copic markers to color the flowers and leaves and inked the edges with Distress Inks. It was really a fun card to create.
I hope you have time to check out all the designer’s blogs and that, at least for a little while, you were able to take your thoughts to a happy place.
