Tim Holtz Laboratory Eclectic Elements

Hi friends! Today I’m sharing a whimsical make inspired by Tami Bastiaans. She’s an amazing artist and one of the Tim Holtz makers of which I’m sure you are all aware. For the last two Halloween seasons she has made adorable makes using Tim’s Eclectic Elements fabrics and I just had to give it a try this year. I chose the Primitive Halloween Black Cat and Pumpkins pattern from Tammy Franck at Rock River Stitches. She has so many adorable patterns from everyday designs to every Holiday on the calendar. Her patterns are easy to follow and come with complete instructions you can download. You can find all her patterns and her store on Etsy at this link: Rock River Stitches. For this make, I used Tim Holtz Eclectic Elements Laboratory fabric in the patterns Flourish and Tapestry. I attached everything to a vignette box and created a large moon for the backdrop. The moon is made from corrugated cardboard that was painted with white gesso and edged with Distress Black Soot Ink. I added a few bats and a raven from the Tim Holtz Vault Gothic die set (666681), some Spanish and sheet moss for the pumpkin patch. I left the vignette wood exposed and untreated to give it a more Farmhouse style that goes with my normal home decor but you could paint it or even put a sentiment in that area.
