Hi everyone, I hope you’re having a wonderful week! Today, I’m sharing a card I made using the Sew Tiny Sentiments stamp set from Tammy Tutterow Designs. These stamps are part of the Sew Sweet Collection. It’s an adorable set of sentiments along with some cute images, perfect for a crafty friend or anyone who loves to sew.
I begin by stamping the sentiment along with some flowers and a heart onto a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock that has been cut from the Tim Holtz Stitched Rectangles die set. I stamped everything with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink and color the images with Copic Markers. Below is a list of Copic markers I used:
- Flower Centers: Y13, Y15, Y17
- Flower Petals: YR12, YR16, YR18
- Stems & Leaves: YG03, YG13, YG17
- Heart: R81, R83, R85
- Lace Around Heart: Faber-Castel Polychromos Colored Pencil – Dark Red 9201-225
After coloring all the images, I ink the edges with Simon Says Stamp Apple Rose ink. I adhere the panel onto a 4-1/2″ x 6″ piece of My Favorite Things Plaid Patterned paper. I create some trim from the Sew Sweet Trim die set and adhere that to the lower bottom half of the panel. I stamp on the sewing needle in the center of the pink trim and thread a piece of white embroidery floss through the eye of the needle. I adhere tiny buttons in the top corner of the main card panel and the card is done.
I hope you enjoyed this sweet card and thanks for stopping by. Have an awesome day!
