This year’s STAMPtember is filled to the brim with amazing products and I was so excited to work with the exclusive Floral Background stamp. I decided to use the stamp for a full background on one card and as part of a floral focal point on another. I stamped the image once, colored the flowers and cut it down to size to fit the design of my cards. I hope you enjoy seeing how I used this gorgeous stamp and that it inspires you to join in the excitement and fun that STAMPtember brings every year. Enjoy!

Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Floral Background

I used the Floral Background to create the entire background for my first card. I colored the flowers with Prismacolor Premier colored pencils and blended them with a blending stump. I adhered the background to colored coordinated cardstock and added accents with the Simon Says Stamp Corbel Border die and Brush Stroke Messages stamp set.

For my second card, I used a bit of the leftover background image and made that the focal point of the card. I created the main background with watercolor paper and Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink. I adhered the main background to a coordinating piece of cardstock, added some twine and stamped a sentiment from the Brush Stroke Messages stamp set from Simon Says Stamp.

I hope you enjoyed seeing how I created my cards using the Floral Background stamp and that you pop on over to Simon Says Stamp to see the entire collection. You can find it all here.
