BOO!

Hi Friends! I hope you’re having an amazing day and enjoying the fall weather. It’s my favorite time of year with all the wonderful sights and smells that go with the season. Today I’m sharing a card I created using the new Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Halloween Doodles. It’s such a fun stamp set and I really enjoyed putting together this card with all its dimension and fun images. There’s not much of a tutorial on this one but I do have a couple elements I can share on how I put it together. Enjoy!

Begin by creating a plaid background. I used Carved Pumpkin Distress Ink. Stamp the image onto a piece of mixed media cardstock and spritz with water. Dry with a heat tool and add interesting background stamps over the plaid image and set aside.

Cut a tag out of Kraft heavystock. Apply a bit of Faded Jeans Distress Ink onto a craft mat, spritz it with water and run the tag through the ink and water mixture. Dry with heat tool. Apply a bit of Rusty Hinge Distress Oxide onto a craft mat and spritz with water. Run the tag through the water and oxide mixture and dry with a heat tool. Next, apply Fossilized Amber Distress Ink onto a craft mat and spritz with water. Run the tag through the ink and water mixture and dry with a heat tool. Lastely, apply a bit of Rusty Hinge Distress Ink onto a craft mat and spritz with water. Run the tag through the water and ink mixture and dry with a heat tool.

Stamp the word “BOO!” from the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Bold Frights Stamp set by inking one letter at a time with Halloween colors.

Stamp and color a pumpkin from the same Halloween Doodles and adhere to the tag. Cut off any excess pumpkin that is hanging off the edge. Set aside.

Stamp the skeleton, ghost, candy pieces and another pumpkin from the Halloween Doodles stamp set and color with Distress Inks. Fussy cut each image with a pair of snippet scissors. Adhere each image to the front card panel as shown above. The ghost and pumpkin are adhered with 3D foam tape and the Skeleton is adhered to the card using an action wobbly. Mount the front card panel onto a piece of Simon Says Stamp Burnt Orange cardstock and adhere that piece onto a piece of Simon Says Stamp Black cardstock with 3D foam tape for dimension.

I hope you enjoyed seeing how I put together this card. Thanks so much for stopping by!
