Hi Friends! I’m here today with a card I created from the Work of the Heart stamp set, one of the new sets from Simon Says Stamp’s Crafty Hugs collection. It’s a fun set that contains many stamps that will help you put together a card to show your appreciation for all those in the healthcare field. It’s been tough on them these last few months especially, and we all need to appreciate them and all they do. I created a super sweet card using the bear along with a couple sentiments. I hope you’ll pop over to Simon Says Stamp to see the entire collection. Just click on the image below and it will take you to the entire release.
This card is super easy to create. First, I stamp stamp a bunch of band aids and the sweet bear and color them with copic markers. I fussy cut them out. There is a die set that you can order that coordinates with the stamp set that you can find here. I created a simple watercolor background with Broken China Distress Ink and stamped the sentiments onto the lower half of the panel. I then adhered the band-aids and bear to the front panel. I also added a few hearts from Simon Says Stamps Clipping Hearts that I cut out of red cardstock. I created a banner to place behind the main card panel that is stamped with the one of the stamps from the Tim Holtz Mixed Media 2 stamp set. The middle panel is another watercolored piece using Vintage Photo Distress Ink and Vintage Photo Oxide. The base panel is Simon Says Stamp Dark Chocolate cardstock.
I hope you enjoyed seeing how I put this card together and that you will check out this amazing new collection from Simon Says Stamp. Thanks so much for stopping by!
