Tim Holtz Embark Fabric Notebook Covers

Hi friends! I’m not much of a sewer but I wanted to give it a try after I saw the Tim Holtz Eclectic Elements Embard canvas material. I had to find something simple for myself because, like I said, I’m not much of a sewer and don’t really have much knowledge in that area. I searched and searched for an easy, yet fun, project and I found one that I think you’d enjoy as well. If you are a seasoned sewer, you’d be able to throw one of these together in an hour tops. If your a newbie like me, it may take a little longer but it is so simple you’ll amaze yourself. Enjoy!

I wanted to create fabric covers for a few composition notebooks because I want to start journaling everything having to do with my garden. I want to take notes on how well certain plants do and keep a journal of what I planted where and so on. I find that if I don’t take notes I forget a lot of little details that are so important especially when you’re trying to successfully grow fruits and vegetables in the low desert. These fabric covers will protect the notebooks and if they happen to get dirty I can toss them in the washing machine. They’re perfect!

I found a video on a YouTube channel called, Stacey Lee Creative. Stacey makes it so easy to follow. She’s a wonderful teacher and this simple sewing project is exactly what I needed. She goes through the entire process step-by-step. It couldn’t have been any easier!! Here is a link to the video I used to create my fabric notebook covers, How to Sew a Super Easy Fabric Book Cover // DIY Sewing Tutorial // Easy Sewing Project.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my fabric notebook covers and I hope you’ll pop on over to Stacy Lee’s YouTube channel for other amazing sewing projects. Thanks so much for stopping by and spending your time here with me. I truly appreciate it!
